Stop by and see me at WaterColor's 10th Annual Art in the Park Saturday, March 21st from 9am-5pm.  I've been working hard creating unique goods like my new t-shirt designs for the whole family and seaside inspired beach totes, my latest ukuele "make a joyful noise" carving, fun aprons, and my popular flour sack towels, pillow covers, table runners, napkins and bath mats just in time for this fresh spring weather!  Check out for updates about the event.

A news editor at Mollie Makes contacted me this summer about featuring my lobster napkins. I was thrilled! Mollie Makes is an awesomely cool craft magazine that spotlights up-and-coming designers. (You can buy it at Michaels and find the online version at Anyway, I finally got my hands on the August issue. Check it, folks: my lobster is famous!

My seaweed pillow cover is a featured item on the Etsy home page! I’m so excited! To see more of my goods, check out my shop at

One of my sweetest friends commissioned me to carve a bee stamp. She is using the carving on tags for local-harvested honey. This bottle was given as an end-of-year teacher appreciation gift.

To welcome in a fresh new season, I’m giving away one of my Pineapple Pillow Covers! The pineapple is the traditional symbol for welcome and hospitality, so what better pillow design for your front porch or entry bench?

To enter to win, go to my Facebook page at and LIKE, COMMENT or SHARE the contest post by the end of day Sunday. I’ll randomly select a winter Monday, March 24.

I just had to share this amazing piece of kid art! We needed a product to be raffled off at my daughter’s school silent auction, so I enlisted the help of my daughter and her talented classmates. I was AMAZED at how well they drew their versions of each fruit. Check out those sweet grapes! I carved their drawings into stamps and created this “Fruit of the Spirit” corkboard.

He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. (Psalm 147:4)

I’ve created a second piece of art to highlight and support the amazing work being done at Forgotton Children’s Ministries (FCM) in Honduras. A little over a year ago, I created my first poster-sized print for FCM. I hand-stamped and lettered more than 100 prints for sale by the ministry. All proceeds went to the benefit of their programs. With the start of the new year, I’ve created another commemorative print, this one featuring the night sky over the gateway to Grace Farm, the tranquil property where Honduran street children are given a new lease on life.

I was thrilled when my vintage fishing lure prints were featured on the online retailer Bourbon & Boots’ website last month. Now, they have made an appearance in @ Urban Magazine’s Father’s Day Gift Guide. Yippee!

For these prints and other great Father’s Day gifts, visit my Etsy shop:

I made up some vintage fishing lure prints a little while back. They are bright and whimsical and were a lot of fun to draw. Anyway, Bourbon & Boots—a cool online retailer of stylish, handmade items appealing to a Southern lifestyle—is fond of my prints, too, and just featured them on their website. I feel oh-so-honored! It’s great timing, too, since Father’s Day is just around the corner.

Check them out on Bourbon & Boots!

Lookey-lookey…now you can buy AHD goods on Etsy! I just opened an Etsy shop and filled it with loads of my latest creations. I love Etsy’s easy shopping experience and their promotion of unique, handmade goods.

Just looking at this print warms my heart. At first glance, it’s a seascape. A closer look reveals girls’ names written in the waves and Psalm 19:1 around the sun. These are the names of girls who have had a ray of light brought into their lives through Forgotten Children Ministries (FCM).

I met FCM missionaries Michelle and Pat Corley recently and was really touched by the work they are doing in Honduras’ poorest areas. Their ministry rescues girls from life on the streets, provides for their basic needs and helps educate them—all while sharing Christ’s loving message.  They are making a real difference every day for these special girls. Can you imagine the impact their work will have on the girls’ futures’ and their children’s futures?

I knew immediately that I wanted to help.  This poster-sized print was the result. I hand-stamped and produced about one hundred of these cheerful, personalized prints. FCM is selling these and 100% of the proceeds is going to the ministry. FCM also has a ministry for the forgotten boys of Honduras located on Grace Farm.
